Larry Rubinstein

My career: I left the Pulpit in 1978 and went into Jewish Institutional and Fund raising work. I ran the Young leadership Cabinet of UJA (1978-1982); was Director of the Federation of Jewish Agencies of Great Philadelphia (1982-1987); Senior Vice President of Brandeis University (1987-1989); Senior Vice President of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (1989-1993); Executive Director of the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research (1993-1996); and Director of Development for the UAHC (1996-2002).

I retired in 2002 and my wife Robin and I retired to Scarborough, Maine, where I am involved in a host of local activities (none of them Jewish). I have left out career highlights since they all have to do with reaching fund raising goals.
