Ellen Waldorf

For over a dozen years, Ellen Waldorf has helped families in transition mediate divorce settlements, prenuptial agreements and open adoptions. Ellen has used this expertise to train and supervise new mediators and educate her colleagues. As the daughter of a congregational rabbi, Ellen recognizes how mediation and negotiation skills can assist rabbis in their varied interactions with congregants, lay leaders, colleagues and staff. She and Martha Hausman have cofounded Clergy Works Institute to educate rabbis and other congregational clergy about mediation and negotiation and provide mediation and negotiation services to clergy and religious communities.
