Aaron Meyer

Rabbi Aaron Meyer (Cincinnati ’11) successfully lead the Jewish community of Washington State to approve gun responsibility Initiative 594, expanding background checks to ALL firearm purchases and transfers, as Associate Rabbi and Chair of the Washington Coalition of Rabbis. Aaron is acutely interested in state-level efforts to expand gun responsibility, capable of bypassing federal-level paralysis, and in the difficult conversations which enable whole congregations to engage in these efforts. He lives in Seattle, WA, with his wife Rabbi Emily Meyer (Cincinnati ’10) and continues to serve Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
