Randy Yudenfriend Glaser, C.S.W.
Randy Yudenfriend Glaser is the current Chair of the Jewish Genetic Disease Consortium. She served as the President of the Mucolipidosis Type IV (ML4) Foundation for over twenty years including the span of time when the gene was discovered. Randy worked closely with ML4 researchers and organized international research conferences. She is the mother of five children, two of whom are affected with ML4.
Randy served on the board of the JGDC since its inception in 2005. She was voted Chairperson in 2009 and again in 2014. She runs the day to day business of the Consortium as well as meeting with the media, speaking with reporters and participating in Medical Grand Rounds, Couples Aware Rabbinic Programs and in the JGDC In Your Community program.
Randy obtained her Masters in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and was in private practice.
