Rabbi Stephanie Alexander is mother to Eli, wife to Rabbi Aaron Sherman, and rabbi to the people of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim in Charleston, SC. Rabbi Alexander received her undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Psychology with honors in Jewish Studies, from Tulane University. She earned ordination, as well as Masters degrees in Hebrew Literature and Religious Education, from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2003. Throughout her training and practice as a rabbi and educator, Rabbi Alexander has sought out institutions that value creativity, inclusivity and spirituality – all of which brought her to historic and vibrant KKBE.
